Welcome to the University at Buffalo Community Mental Health Provider Database
If you would rather find mental health services without coming to UB Counseling Services, or if you are not eligible to use UB Counseling Services, you may find this database of community providers helpful. The purpose of this database is to help match your mental health needs with a compatible provider in the community. If you need additional support in connecting with a community provider, please contact UB Counseling Services at (716) 645-2720 and request to speak with the Clinical Case Manager. For a general search scroll to the bottom of the page and click " SEARCH" and the entire list of providers will be displayed. If you are looking for any specific information, fill in the fields and click " SEARCH "
The providers participating in the database supply their own information about their services. Each therapist works autonomously and has separate therapeutic and legal responsibility for his/her clients. UB Counseling Services offers this database as a resource; it does not constitute endorsement of any of the listed treatment providers or facilities. Users assume responsibility for evaluating and selecting among the providers included in these listings. We cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided. It is therefore important to verify information with the providers that interest you, including fees and other arrangements. Contact your insurance company to ensure that the clinician you select is a participating provider.
If you are a UB student and are at risk (e.g., considering suicide, at risk of other physical harm, or at risk for physically harming someone else), during business hours, we urge you to come to UB Counseling Services at 120 Richmond Quad on the North Campus for a walk-in crisis appointment. If you need help after hours, please call University Police at 645-2222 and ask to speak to the counselor on call or contact Crisis Services of Erie County at 716-834-3131.
